Marla’s Philosophy
Marla helps to minimize the stress of the college admissions process. Through her ongoing support, her sense of humor, and encouragement, she helps students feel positive rather than overwhelmed. And she breaks down the entire college process into small and manageable steps so that students can feel confident and excited about this next chapter in their lives. Marla sees her role as a coach, mentor and educator… she will be with your son or daughter every step of the way.
Because Marla wants to give her students the attention that they deserve, she limits the amount of students that she takes each year.
What we do – Testimonial
Marla is so fabulous. Let me put it this way; I’ve lined up my other teenage daughters to work with her as they prepare for college. Marla is a one-stop shop and she went the distance, constantly checking in with my daughter. It deflated the stress balloon and made the college admissions process a wonderful experience. My daughter felt like she had a guidance counselor, an essay expert, and a friend all rolled into one.
It’s a great idea to start early!
For your child to have the best possible college options, we can begin working with him or her as early as freshman or sophomore year. We’ll help your child select courses, suggest extracurricular activities that align with college or career goals, and provide information about community service opportunities and summer programs. We can also refer you to standardized test tutors. Then, in the fall or winter of junior year, we begin working on the formal college selection and application process.
